Harmonie Concert Band, Solihull is a wind band based in Solihull with a long history of making ensemble playing accessible to players of all ages and abilities. We rehearse weekly, preparing concerts which take place at the end of each school term.
On the 14th of November 2019 the Charity Commission of England and Wales approved our application to be recognised as a charitable incorporated organisation. We aim to help underprivileged students in the Solihull area with a scholarship for wind instrument lessons. We have a vast library of over 400 pieces which we have acquired over the years. This includes music from films, musicals, popular Classical music, marching and wind band standards. The band obviously have their favourites and as a member you will have the opportunity to select music you like for concerts and recommend future acquisitions. |
